Stuart Fletcher is a father of three, a pen enthusiast, and a founding member of NaviGator Tax and Representation. As a US Coast Guard veteran and now as an Enrolled Agent, Stuart has a lifelong passion for helping people out of tough situations.
In 2009 Stuart began what he expected to be a career in real estate and obtained his brokers license. Shortly after filing his first tax return as a self-employed person (and paying the subsequent bill to the IRS,) however, he realized he should spend some time learning about taxes and bookkeeping. In the end he abandoned his real estate career, took a job as a tax preparer at a local H&R Block, was an office manager, a lead tax preparer, and ultimately earned his status as an Enrolled Agent.
When not glued to tax software Stuart can be found spending time with his family, trying (and often failing) to train his basset hound Penny, and enjoying the distinction of being the only person on earth (as far as he knows) to have been at the helm of multiple coast guard vessels, A Disney monorail and the Goodyear Blimp.
Marion Davis loves her cats, reading, making her own jewelry, and of course taxes. Since the ripe age of 5, Marion has been a part of a “tax” family. At the age of thirteen she started going to the office with her father to do tax research and some light reception duties. By the age of 18 she had passed the California Tax Education Council’s exam and started her first season as a tax professional. Since then she has had the opportunity to work as a tax preparer, an office supervisor, a franchise partner with H&R Block, and an Enrolled Agent. Starting Navigator Tax & Representation with her business partners has created an environment where she can utilize her research skills by helping people figure out the puzzle that is their tax situation.
Most days Marion is up to her ears in taxes. On the rare occasion when she does have some down time you are most likely to find her at the movies (yay cheesy ridiculous horror movies), curled up on the sofa watching an old Cary Grant movie (with cats of course), or reading a good book (before someone turns it into a movie).
